AirBuddy 2 Brings Better AirPods Experience to Mac

AirBuddy 2, an update to the app that brings a better AirPods experience to Mac, is now available for pre-order.

Since its introduction, AirBuddy has helped many AirPods and Beats users get the most out of their products on the Mac by significantly improving the experience on the platform. With AirBuddy 2, this is taken to the next level with a refreshed user interface, improved reliability, and many new features.

● AirBuddy intelligently groups your devices based on their relationship to each other, so if your AirPods are currently connected to your iPhone, they are grouped in the status bar menu.
● Quickly connect to AirPods, switch between listening modes, and more using the status bar menu or keyboard shortcuts
● Set up custom connection modes so that your devices are automatically configured when connected to your Mac. Connection modes can change the listening mode, volume, and whether the device's microphone will be enabled
● Check out historical data about your usage, including listening time, call time and battery, for the previous 12 hours, 24 hours, or the previous day. See a summary of your usage including total listening time and total call time, as well as which one of your AirPods (left or right) is draining more quickly than the other one

AirBuddy 2 is available to pre-order for $9.99 and will be released November 11. If you purchased AirBuddy in 2020, it's a free upgrade. Users who purchased the app in 2019 have a reduced upgrade cost of $4.99.
