Apple plans to discontinue the 5.4-inch iPhone mini next year, according to a new report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Rather than offer three sizes of the new iPhone, Apple will stick with just the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes. However, the company will still release four new models, says Kuo. There will be two 6.1-inch models and two 6.7-inch models. One of each size will be a high-end version with additional features.
There have been multiple reports indicating that demand for the smaller iPhone 12 mini has been sluggish. Apple allegedly decreased orders for the device by 2 million units in Q1. Additionally, a recent report from Counterpoint found that the iPhone 12 mini was selling fewer units than last year's iPhone 11, placing 8th overall.

Bought one of them when it was released and I have no regrets, perfectly sized smartphone with all needed functions. Very sad news, Apple like always mostly doing that for money.

Phone we’re never intended to be the size a football field and the iPhone 12 mini is the phone size that the good LorT intended

I may actually wait a bit there may be a chance that their inventory was more than expected and they may sell the device at a discounted price. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 but it’s a pleasant lie at best

Can’t tell if this means no iPhone 13 mini or no iPhone 14 mini. Can anyone clarify?

Yes, I’ll be sad to see it go. I’m hoping to get one. Looks like I’d better not wait too long.
