Gizmodo Dissects the iPhone 4G Prototype

Gizmodo has posted teardown pictures and analysis of the iPhone 4G prototype they obtained.

There are a number of interesting facts gained from the dissection, the most important of which is more concrete confirmation (as if we needed any more) that this phone is from Apple. There are three separate places, inside the case, where APPLE is written prominently. Upon unscrewing the bottom two screws—just like with the 3GS—you can use a suction cup and pry off the back portion of the phone, not the front like on iFixit's 3GS teardown.

Take a look at a couple pics below or hit the link for more...

Imagine what apple/nokia/motorola would have paid for the prototype? Waaay more than $5,000! That guy who sold it to gizmodo is an idiot! I guarantee that phone is worth a good $50,000 to apple or even more to a competitor.

you cant be selling stolen stuff well not here on California so even if you found it or you buy it you need to returned to the original owner

this is what's gonna happen to aliens when they come to earth... I still don't believe a single line Gizmodo says.

The dude lost the phone. Giz bought it. Getting the exclusive scoop on stuff like the next iPhone is their job. Sucks for the dude that lost the phone, but I guarantee you he wasn't supposed to be out drinking with a secret prototype in his pocket. If you screw up at your job in a way that messes with your company's highly successful business plan and makes them look foolish, you can't count on other people to cover your tracks for you.

WTF!? This just make the whole story seems fake. Apple clearly will want their device/prototype back. I mean for apple letting their device/prototype leaked already bad. And Gizmodo decided to show it to the world yesterday and now they aredissecting iphone up each part so china can copy it and lunch it at the same time or earlier than apple. This is BULLSHIT! There is no way gizmodo leaked a real iphone 4g in this detail. IF THIS IS TRUE, apple will def hunt their ass down. NOW, i know they are just making hype about it.

are u stupid? dude even its a lost prototype. there is no way apple will allow the news to be published. Also that yesterday apple already send letter about the device. and gizmodo decided to disamble it and publish it to the rest of the world instead of returning.
