i try to unblock my iphone with firmware2.0 everything works fine to me except when i try to recover on itnues. the itunes have de error 1604 or 1602 i put the iphone in DFU mode the windows vista install the new drives to DFU mode iphone, Itunes "see" the new iphone in recovery mode, but after open the custom firmware and go put inside the iphone this error happens help me please, for 2 days i don´t have an iphone but have an ibrick

Okay, everyone go download Winpwn 2.0. It just came out tonight. Then follow the above steps (2.0 is VERY similar to the instructions listed here). If you need help, do a search for "unlock iPhone 2.0 winpwn" in Google. Oh, and Yassi...you need WinRAR to open that bootloader RAR file you downloaded.

I NEED DESPERATE HELP PLEASE i am stuck at the downloading bootloader part. when i click on the download 'here', i save the file but it doesnt open and a message pops up saying the file is not valid???!!! WHAT DO I DO!!??? btw i have Windows Vista

Maybe I'm just dumb, but you might wanna advise peeps that they have to be on 1.1.4 first before they do anything. That was my probelm not knowing I ahd to have 1.1.4 on. Other than that great tutorial.

hey i did everything up to the click 'iPwner' when i click that, it says starting pwnage and nothing happens.. please help ive been trying to get this to work fro over 7 hours straight

Great instructions otherwise, but iPhone doesn't restore even efter taking all these steps, everytime a different error. Any ideas? I am starting to get desperate.

It finally works. 1. Put the iPhone in DFU mode. 2. Restore in iTunes to 1.1.4. (iTunes v7.6.2.9) 3. Received error 1015. 4. Run the modified version of ZiPhone with all 3 boxes checked. (App not run) 5. Put the iPhone in restore mode. 6. Restore in ITunes to 1.1.4.. again... 7. Run the modified version of ZiPhone again. (App normal running. See iPhone screen) 8. Restore in ITunes to 1.1.4.. again... No errors this time. 7. Used the standard ZiPhone 3.0 to "Do it all". 8. It works!

The best is the Ziphone 3.0 running smoothly and thousands of iphone. I think the WINPWN gives many problems.

I've pwned an OTB 1.1.4, but after loading the custom firmware, Settings>General says i'm running firmware 1.1.3 (4A102). Is this normal behavior?

My unit is a 1.1.1 OTB jailbroken to 1.1.2 and ran smoothly. I've used Winpwn for 1.1.4 but during the reboot, the scrolling script includes 'appleimage not found' and 'NOR flashing failed'. After creating the cutoms ipsw file, iTunes' message is ' error 1604'.

did all the steps....the iphone unlocked...but the bootneuter didn't work....so i did the steps all over again....and now i am stuck at the boot logo. anyone ???

Ok right, an addition: after rebooting and bootneuter ending i got the message 'No Message provided'. I used the beta version of winpwn and downloaded all the relevant files, etc.

Just ran the newest beta version and got a 'winpwn - No message provided'.

Hey.. I followed the instructions and everything and i went to use itunes and is says you need to insert sim or activate the iphone before you can use it.. i ticked all the right boxes??? i have iphone 16G 1.1.4 and itunes 7.6.2.9??? anyone help!!! please

There is an unknown error while restore in DFU mode

I cannot restore my custom firmware while in DFU mode. I have built my custom firmware using Winpwn 1.0.0.2 RC1. I just added Cydia to the firmware, and also checked activate, neuter and unlock in the advanced tab. There is no error during the build .ipsw process. My iphone have be pwned. My itunes version is 7.6.2.9 I can restore my custom firmware using shift + restore but not DFU mode. Please advise

did anyone have to apply any fixes for everything to work on theres includein mail and youtube and does da custom retore file keepall ya numbers/contacts pics an all other info,....and dont add da bootneuter from da program add it from ur sourse list it works fine from dere,otherwise ur jus makin a bs file dat dont need to be dere...think about it

Why I have to Download the iTunes DLLs to your Desktop from Prodigy60, MegaUpload . Why Step Six, Extract the itunesdll.zip you download earlier to the folder you installed WinPwn is necessary. Can some one explain please.

I was very happy and prud when i saw my own uploaded boot picture when iPhone was on, but after every steps "installer" window on home screen WAS MISSING! :(((( I have openen Bootneuter too, but it said:" Error Couldn't find all required files...please check your installation of this app." Okay, BUT WHERE???? I DON'T HAVE "INSTALLER"!!! Oh God! Please aníbody help me! :(

@iclarified I was using the new one which was linked here in iclarified Thanks for this but i got the solution i dont knwo but it got worked after i install the previous debug version of winpwn too!! but still i am waitin to get the signal out of my iphone !! all are working fine but no signals!!

@smokin, you are most likely using the older version of WinPwn which was missing alot of features!

HI, I am shocked i tried the guide but as u say there's no application tab in the ipsw Builder section and it's not enabling the bootloader , baseband file etcc!!! I was rying to upgrade to 2.0 first but as i saw that i think it must have been disabled in 2.0 but in 1.1.4 firmware is not working at all !! does only my computer facing this problem

va you have to put the iPhone in restore mode to bypass the activation screen in iTunes
