Upgrading a JB iphone 4 from 5.1.1 to 6.1.2

Here is what I gathered so far.
1. Use iFaith to build the required IPSW
2. put IPhone into DFU mode
3. restore from iTunes
Is this the right method? Is there any alternative easier method?
