how convenient why even bother JB anymore? all the shit that was feee you have to pay now. you cant even get tethering without spending 30 dollars on an unsupported POS software.

The scene has become greedy, the best way is not to support these is simply not buying and not recommending them to anyone! Also good way to fight back is to release free alternatives...

ever heard of adding a new repo to cydia? cough* theiphonespotrepo *cough

It's true that a lot of formerly free apps in the JB community are now paid apps, but a lot of that has to do with getting the paid system in place. Originally, there was no method for people to charge for their jailbroken-only apps. But just like the Apple app store has free apps, so does Cydia, and some of them are also really great apps, (and tweaks). I'm not sure why developers of apps shouldn't charge for them. Some of the work involved is very extensive and could only be done if this was a significant job for the developer (as well as an investment in cash for some as well). Like anything else, there are apps that are overpriced, but for the most part they're all pretty cheap. And of course even without the paid apps, there are plenty of reasons to still jailbreak, but I'd encourage you to take a look at the paid apps and consider whether the developer's work has resulted in something that is worth the price to you and if so contributing to the cost of their efforts.

Anybody else having trouble with this? Saying that you need wifi? Even after re spring and restart?
Geoff - October 12, 2010 at 12:53am
Yes still asks to connect to wifi.
gb - October 12, 2010 at 1:00am
oh good not only one.... paid or cracked?
Geoff - October 12, 2010 at 1:03am
Paid... If you have wifi enabled but not connected to any network it will work. Although this worked with the previous version which i thought this latest one would fix.
killerz - October 12, 2010 at 1:38am
make sure your wifi is on.i did this and work with my iphone
gb - October 12, 2010 at 1:49am
YOU ARE RIGHT! Enable Wifi, if your phone has already found a wifi signal, click on it, and make it "Forget this network". GOOD FIND! Thanks tonnes!
James - October 12, 2010 at 2:04am
Just make sure wifi is turned on , but you don't need to associate with any SSID.
Rooverz - October 12, 2010 at 6:10am
This WiFi "solution" also was working for the 1.1.3 version I thought 1.1.5 would fix that! It feels like a scam that the developer says its working on 4.1, but actually it's not! And i use facebreak most when i am at the i have to disconnect everytime from my network, and after using facebreak i have to retype my password.... :(

Yes, I have messed with this feature for about 45 min and still not working. I have installed and resprung. Turn off & on. Rebooted multiple times and nothing. I keep getting a error that I need to connect to wifi. Someone needs to fix!

Yes i have that problem too!!
synnerg - October 12, 2010 at 11:02pm
Why would anyone use this when they can get 3g unrestrictor or My3G cracked FREE and they cover all your apps - not just Facetime. You just have to find the right repo
Jess - October 13, 2010 at 8:51am
What is the repo's your using for the crack MY3G?
Synnerg - October 17, 2010 at 10:32am
You can find it @ Sinfuliphonerepo or p2pworlds Don't remember the exact address but you should be able to google those two repos
