Apple Confirma FaceTime para Mac

Apple anunció hoy la beta publica de FaceTime para mac, una nueva aplicación que permitira a los usuario de Mac realizar video llamadas a usuarios de iPhone 4 y Ipod touch desde las Macs. Estrenando su interfaz facil de usar, FaceTime para Mac utiliza automaticamente la Libreta de Contactos por lo que no es necesario crear una lista de contactos, y trabaja de forma compatible con modelos de camaras con microfono incorporado tanto para los modelos de notebook de Mac, como las iMac y los LED Cinema Display.

"FaceTime hace que el realizar video llamdas desde o hacia dispositivos moviles sea tan facil desde la primera vez", dice el CEO de Apple, Steve Jobs. "Hemos vendido mas de 19 millones de dispositivos iPhone 4 y iPod Touch listos para FaceTime in los ultimos 4 meses y ahora estos usuarios podran realizar llamadas con otros 10 millones de usuarios de Mac.

FaceTime para Mac requiere la version de Mac OS X Snow Leopard y una cuenta de Apple ID para su facil configuración. La versión beta esta disponible para ser descargada gratuitamente desde: www.apple.com/mac/facetime.

i am use facetime carck i call me self and my friends facetime failed how ti fix it

Even if my FaceTime.app on Mac is closed, it will automatically open, if someones calling me =)

anybody got it working? when i try to call my friend's iphone 4 it just rings and after that it says call failed and when i ask my friend and if his phone rang and it didn't , same thing happens when he tries to call me

yes i understand it's beta but even if it's buggy atleast it gotta connect once. cause they wouldn't just release if it doesnt work at all

Works fine, I have called my iPhone and also called my Mac from my iPhone. Remember if you are calling an iPhone you need to select the number not email address

remeber to use the EXACT number registered with your iPhone 4 (with area code) It works for me, even on 3g (My3G installed) :P

reinstalled and calling to iphone works but when my friend tries to call me to mac from iphone he says it keeps ringing and nothing happens on my mac side

Remember if your friend isn't jailbroken or doesn't have either My3G or 3GUnrestrictor facetime only works on wifi. Did your friend have wifi when you tested it. Mine works fine. Tested with my iPhone 4 jailbroken and my iMac. FYI 3GUnrestrictor works fine with it also.

calling him on his phone worked but him calling me from his phone while on wifi didn't

First time I had the same problem, second attempt it worked. Installed, tried it out, worked great :)

The download for face time is at the bottom. That happened to me too. Its mislabeled on the site. There is another download button at the bottom of the page.
