Such a good point. TuneIn Radio is excellent and I imagine (sinces it's not just a AM/FM radio) that it has more stations/features than this Bose one anyway.
"Finally"?
This is nothing more than a skinned and stripped down version of Tune In Radio. I'd go with the source version which has been out for a long time, includes the ability to record, has iPad optimizations, integrates Google Maps, and is $2 less expensive without trying to sell you overpriced speakers as well.
What a joke, Bose should be including the app for free with their speakers/dock.
And their are lots of others in this space as well. AOL has a pretty decent player that I believe is free.
Wow, i didnt think people would get so affended by me saying finally. Look i have ooTunes abd it does NOT get the particular station that this app gets that i need so both of you can calm down.
@1000101,
Nobody is offended at what you wrote. If you want to spend $2 more for a lesser version of Tune In Radio and get an app that tries to get you to also buy over-priced speakers, be our guest. Bose is the joke of the industry and it's precisely because of doing things exactly like this...getting people to pay more for less. In this case it's totally obvious. It says right there on the app itself that it's really Tune In Radio, and a quick comparison of the features shows you're getting a lesser version of the app, but paying more for it.
