I'm very impressed with the new iOS... Finally a better notification system... And iMessage could be similar to BBM... iCloud seems pretty cool too... Can't wait until the fall to try it out

Very impressed with what is claimed to be coming in IOS5. It looks like Apple has really taken a fresh look at the IOS and incorporated many featutes that we currently need jailbreak apps to accomplish. I am looking forward to IOS5!!

I hear ya' there! The fact that Apple seems to have opened their eyes to what we Jailbreak to get and wish to see in iOS is a necessary step to keep iOS floating..!

They haven't taken a fresh look at ios. They've finally taken a look at Android and figured out that some of the things people are jumping ship for are finally worth trying for themselves.

Ok so iOS 5 looks good - however, how will the new system of updating iOS 5+ incrementally OTA (Over The Air) rather than via USB, affect the ability to jailbreak iDevices and capture SHSH 'Blobs' using software such as TinyUmbrella? - since connecting to iTunes on a computer will no longer be required for iDevices running iOS 5 or later to perform the update process.

I think that OTA update will be another option to perform an update. You will probably still get the opition to update via PC/Mac (in case you have wi-fi or have limited data plans). So if hackers ever get to find a workable exploit to jailbreak iOS 5, and you plan to use it I guess all you'll to do is to choose not to update your device OTA and ALWAYS wait for DEV Team instructions.
