Apple lançou iTunes 10.3.1 via Software Update. Não esta muito claro o que exatamente tem de novo neste update; no entanto ,é provavel que conserte alguns "bugs" descobertos depois do lançamento do iTunes 10.3.
Você pode fazer o download do update selecionando Software Update do Apple menu na parte esquerda superior da sua tela.

I checked for updates in iTunes But zilch now am told it's under general software update ? What's that all about...

I think you are confusing 10.3.1 with 10.5 beta. 10.3.1 can be downloaded by anyone, therefore it is the final version. 10.5 is for developers and is beta.
