Isso irá me tomar alguns dias.

My untethered JB will be released after the final release of apples firmware (which will be never), i am wanting an iphone 4s and ipad 2 so any/all donations will be greatly accepted until i can afford to buy the devices then i will fade into the background just like cydia has. lets face it, if the cydia app installous didnt exist, im almost certain no-one would JB. ppl used to JB for cool touches that apple left out, but now they have filled the gaps and done it better. theres no need to jailbreak just for an unlock that will never be worked on again, also no need now iphones are sold unlocked direct from apple

Please wait until 5.1 goes live...or is the exploit already fixed in 5.1?

@Tom I second that. Dev is trying out his knee pads again as usual like everyone on here. Dev tell your boy pod2g to release already stop playing games and another thing I bet you he will release iPhone 4s and iPad 2 before iPhone 4 and iPad 1...

Disagree with you here. It's nice to see people chipping in for the greater cause. Please need to realize that for him this is a hobby, his work benefits everyone. Its tiring to see ppl making demands for something that the only reward a DEV get's its his own pride of accomplishment. Think of it this way, if this was a way of making a living out of it; don't you think all developers or hackers would be on this full time? What makes me sick is all those ppl that use the tools these devs make to make money but never give back some of the money to the devs through donations. I think we should give more praise then the negative remarks provided. Patience is a virtue, and if you are not paying for something well you better dam wait. :). I hope people like him don't loose interest in keep doing this for us, so I my hats off to them for even sharing that there is progress and for doing something for our selfish good.

Do you imagine a warehouse in some abandonded distrcit with the name Dev Team written on it? You think these guys all get together every night and make up sploits? Kid says he's finalizing the release. It takes time everyone is so damn impatient. It's now now now gimmie gimmie gimmie. Better for him to test it out and try to iron out the bugs than release something that could f up your phone.

This will be the last of the JB's so please enjoy.... Hmm wonder where the NCK brute the dev team was talking about last year and 2months ago for iPhone 4??? Hmmmmm tsk tsk tsk got bought out.... Wow shocking they working on unlock for iPhone 4S when they said "no more NEW unlocks due to the fact unlocked iPhone 4 being sold" hmmm wait a minute aren't they selling UNLOCKED iPhone 4s hmmmmmm....

I hope your wrong. :), If this is the case when my existing devices become obsolete I guess I'm moving over to the platform that does not tie me in...

And which platform is that dude?
Tyler
Tyler - December 15, 2011 at 10:52pm
First, the NCK brute force was a theory. Its not a exploit, it involved guessing the key to access the seczone where the lock status is stored. However, in theory it could take thousands of years to correctly guess it for each device. Second, they didn't stop working on a iPhone 4 unlock because it was possible to buy a factory unlocked iPhone 4, it was because apple has removed so much baseband code its hard to find a exploit. It may be possible to find a unlock for the 4s because since apple changed so much about the antennas more code was added. Please, make sure you know what your talking about before you go on ranting.

I've you've been around for a while, you realize it's because of people like him the community is where we are today. Let's stop bitching and see how we can help them to be successful. The community needs to find was to encourage them not trash them. I honestly hope he can hold up until 5.1 is released to see if the exploit is there also, but from the looks of it, if he has gone so far to go public it does not look like it is. At the end of the day Apple profits off JB, more units sold equates to more developers jumping on the bandwagon to develop great apps...
