I've been told by my AT&T rep "IF" the iPhone 5 is LTE you WILL lose your unlimited data plan
Brian - April 5, 2011 at 2:37pm
That is funny since knowing many Apple Store employees they have told me many times that no one at local stores (Apple or AT&T) know anything about Apple products before they are announced. I highly doubt that any lowly AT&T employee knows something that "controlled leak sources" (http://www.ipodrepublic.com/ipod-review/strategy-behind-islate-leak-to-wsj/2010/01/07/) like the Wall Street Journal, do not.

But it's not about Apple products. It's about what AT&T will do
Brian - April 5, 2011 at 3:59pm
Yeah, still I woulnd't trust what a AT&T employee is saying. They have no idea what Apple and AT&T corporate are doing. Until Apple announces it, AT&T tipically hasn't come out and said anything about Apple products and their support of them. Think about it. Was that employee that could have been working at the AT&T store for a couple weeks/months included in private conferences with the heads of A&T and Apple? No way. Even if they were a district manager, they wouldn't be involved in negotiations like that.

That would really suck, I guess I won't be doing the iPhone 5.
Brian - April 6, 2011 at 1:27pm
There is absolutely no official word on it. Just what "Walmart wireless" claims which hold no weight behind it.

"iPhone5 will be released first quarter 2012" me posting that on here is about as reliable as that korean site saying something different.

They certainly could improve the notification system.
iphonefreak - April 5, 2011 at 4:16am
is the news a reliable source?
homieg - April 5, 2011 at 3:42am
Bigger screen, 10-12 MP camera, 1080p HD pictures/videos, improved system speeds, more customizations, 3D?, No home button?, iPad 2 processor/graphics?, iOS 5?!....
Brian - April 5, 2011 at 2:39pm
Sony let it drop that it will be an 8P camera sensor. This does seem very reliable.
NeHoMaR - April 5, 2011 at 1:14am
I wonder what the hell a iPhone 5 will be? is not iPhone 4 already fine? I mean, the thing they must do is a better iOS. iOS 5 is better news.
dancj - April 5, 2011 at 2:45am
There are various improvements they could make: Bigger screen 3D screen 64gb storage Faster processor Better GPS receiver 4g Longer battery life
onemeslR - April 5, 2011 at 2:47am
i would love to have all of that features on the iPhone 5 :D
wezz69 - April 5, 2011 at 3:49am
Yes definitely better battery life, i have to do 2 full battery charges per day which is not good at all! The camera needs slight improvement, i say slight because my iphone 4 camera is far better than my nokia n8 12mp camera. Also the antenna line-thingys need re-situating so i can use my iphone without the damn iphone 4-skin! some say replace the glass backplate, but i personally like it, ive had my iphone 4 for nearly a year with no scratches or any visible marks on the front or rear! that follows at least 10 drops. i currently bought a nokia n8, but i can honestly say it is total pants, nokia is a dead horse now iphones are on the scene! saying that, iphone is a head above all manufacturers, so the iphone 5 is a welcome addition to my collection of all incarnations of the iphone i own!

Better Bluetooth and no faults on release would be good
Asdf - April 5, 2011 at 12:41am
Word to the wise, all Korean websites just copy blogposts that were on American sites months before and try to pass them off as news articles to try to generate more pageviews. They have almost no fact checking or other integrity checks that other countries' papers employ and should not be believed.
Tomster88 - April 5, 2011 at 12:40am
Hopefully a bigger screen too
onemeslR - April 5, 2011 at 2:34am
i wouldnt want a bigger screen, to bulky. i hope it has better screen resolution and camera, and more features... etc...
Me - April 5, 2011 at 4:11am
SERIOUSLY. What is wrong with you... have you looked at an iphone 4 screen recently?
xntrick - April 5, 2011 at 12:29am
Wonder if they've fixed the antenna issues...
JP - April 5, 2011 at 12:38am
The antenna issue is BS there are many iPhone 4's in my family nobody has problems, my question is, will it have LTE capabilities, if not, I'll skip it and wait for the next one...
clar - April 5, 2011 at 1:32am
yeah sure they do, they should put car antenna for a better signal and make them all factory unlocked. harharhar
