FolderEnhancer, a tweak to improve iOS folder capabilities, is now available in the Cydia Store.

iOS 4 brought with it the ability to put apps and bookmarks into folders. Unfortunately, the implementation is quite limited. FolderEnhancer takes this feature and improves upon it, making it a viable solution for organizing and accessing your apps.

Features:
● Open folders faster.
● Add up to 320 icons to a folder (20 pages, 16 per page).
● Create folders inside of folders.
● Create folders on the dock.
● Supports Iconoclasm for custom layouts inside of folders.
● Extends MultiIconMover to allow moving multiple icons into/out of folders.
● Options include hiding the folder name and wallpaper, as well as disabling animations.

Folder Enhancer costs $1.99 and can be purchased from the Cydia Store.

This development direction is scary - having folder inside folder and UI getting more complicated makes it step by step closer to the Symbian menu-hell we hated in Nokias. The beauty of iPhone so far has been the userfriendlyness - been able to find everything just one or two clicks away... getting this stuff deeper means that we end up having monsters like old Nokias where you had to click 7times to find something from inside of something - inside of some thing else... pheeew.. plz dont ruin iOS - go and mess around - play with that Android! :)

Wrong. Having 12 pages inside a folder is a good thing. I have about 30 games on my iphone. Instead of having 3 games folder, now i only have 1 games folder. When i look for specific game I dont have to figure out which folder is for the specifix games. Same goes with my social networking and im folder.

Yeah having able to store 30games in one folder is cool but my point is more the consern about folders inside folders and so on... Then we getting back to horrible Nokia menusurfing... Out of interest - how many im-apps you need? Im+ does most of them and skype for calling... Also do you have to have 30games intealled? I play like one or two games at regularry and when get bored with them will delete and get others...ok some games are there just because they look good and its nice to have them incase i feel like playing with them...anyways iphone/ipads should not used in my opinion as storage devices of all kind uf unused stuff... Keeping the number of installed apps low keeps thing easy to find and you end up using them more than having 600apps and you only ypuse each once a year...
