Take a look at this video of the iPhone 4, HTC Surround, and the T-Mobile G2 being grilled to death.

Notably, the iPhone 4 was the only device to warn you of its impending death.

Aparently you don't know how to BBQ cause your heat was not evenly distributed. All your heat was on the outsides. Pretty sweet to see the iphone respond to the heat though!

I know right? Stupid kids. No idea how a grill works. Middle of the grill takes some time to heat up whereas sides are exposed to fire right away.

Might be worthy of note that the iphone 4 wasn't actually dead when the display turned of, it simply turned itself of as it was to hot, it probably turned unstartable not long after though :p I wonder if the android shut itself of or actually died. The WP7 seem like it actually died when the screen turned black, the screen were already half broken :P Also, what a waste of money...
