Impressive Guitar Solo Performed Using iPad and GarageBand [Video]

George Lambro has posted an impressive video of himself performing a guitar solo using the iPad and Apple's Garageband app.

This is me creating a jam track with apple's Garageband app for the ipad and then shredding a guitar solo over it! I am sorry about the bad video quality, but i could not find a way to record ipad's screen in a fast framerate. Anyway i believe you will get the idea. Hope you enjoy!

Take a look below....

meh. Y\'all are easily impressed. Yes, the iPad is revolutionary- Garage band has made it pretty easy for anybody with a slight bit of musical knowledge to sound good. The modal scales for the guitar are pre-programmed in. I\'ve laid down base tracks repeating the chord progression I-V-vi-IV-V, set the guitar to play in major pentatonic, and my four year old son can lay down rippingly amazing guitar licks without know what he\'s really doing. Does that mean he has talent? No. and I\'m his dad...

You are right but i did not do any of that. We agree that garageband has A LOT of preinstalled \"fast food\" but the only of that I used was the arpeggio guitar and organ. All other instruments (drums, solo guitar, bass) were performed live and \"manually\"!

wa, hello, that is the whole idea behind Apple - To make revolutionary products ACCESSIBLE AND EASY TO USE BY ANYONE, jeez all \"big\" musicians that have been studying and hard working to come out with almost nothing, are now mad at Apple for making it this easy!
