It has Siri??? That spun pretty cool to me! I can't wait to see the final designs and I can't wait to get one!

I doubt this is a final design apple do not follow other companies designs so they well make the tv a little thicker a camera is needed not just for FaceTime but for things like Skype (many people use this) and gesture controls

Apple wouldn't follow other manufutacturers' trend but they will follow the market's trend. If they can make the MacBook air. It's possible to make a super thin tv

This source may not be that reliable or this is just one of the prototypes that d designing team is still debating. Just like the 1st iPhone, it's small but gotten 3 different designs. Apple prolly got 10 different designs of d tv. 1st of all y would they make d tv that thick wen the trend is thin, n it's not like this is d 1st tv so tech for a thin tv is unavailable. Other manufacturers have been making super thin tv for yrs. especially, for d iPhone, iPad, the battery is huge so that's y it's thick, this tv I presume wouldn't operate on battery, therefore it should be no problem to be thin. Overall unreliable source regardless of what the source claim

Now with this for sure the iPhone or iPod can act as a remote control. Wonder if apple will have flash storage in it to store movies, probably will. Getting 1 fasho

That is a HUGE bezel. Please make thin bezels! Camera on a TV for Facetime is just useless. Anyone with an iTV surely has an iPad or iPhone that can be used more comfortably for Facetime. Just throw away the camera on the Apple TV and make the bezel really thin.

I would love it. I find the facetime on the Ipad so, so. If you hold it by hand it is often shaking and the coffee table is too low to put it on. So, we use facetime almost always on the IMac. If we have it on the TV my family would be very happy.

I agree that the bezel is a little bit to thick for today's tv designs and styles. I'm pretty sure if and when apple comes out with a tv it will be alot thinner and so will the bezel. But how is having a camera on the tv for facetime stupid. Have you seen Samsung's newest tv's? They have some of the thinnest bezels on the market and still have a camera. And they're not just using it for video calls. They're using it for interacting with and controlling your tv through hand motion gestures or swipes kind of like the kinect for Xbox.

Love it. Looks like a giant iPad. This thing's gonna be a hit! But haters are going to hate...sigh.

I don't think Siri would be triggered by on screen button -more like some remote device.
Full_Blown_Addict - May 8, 2012 at 3:35pm
Nooo really? I was surely thinking I'd have to get up off the couch to use Siri on the new apple tv when it came out. Of course you're gonna control Siri from a remote or even through the camera with hand gestures. You really think they'd make you get up off your ass to press the Siri button on the screen kind of like we use to have to do to change the channel and volume back in the good old days. What a stupid comment.

Ha haaa. What a hilarious comment. I bet you're either some stupid spoiled young kid that didn't go to school today or a immature 40 year old virgin that works at McDonalds or Walmart and still lives in his parents basement that doesn't realize "Your Mom" Jokes got old about 10 years ago. Get a life.
