I tryed using the new poison for the 5.1.1 for my 4s iPhone it won't work nether will whitiesn0w or redsn0w anyone have a clue as to what I shuld do I have had my phone since last november I was rely happy that redsn0w worked for my iPod 2g if anyone can help me please contact me at purpleorcid@ hotmail.com

After download and installed the software, even i connect my ipad2 thru USB cable, but the "jailbreak" icon can't be active (i not able to click on the icon" ... can you help what to do to make "jailbreak" icon active?

Restore the iPad to factory settings and run the jailbreak again.

Jailbreak was fine on both iPhone 4S and iPad2, but.... Updating the iPhone was a MESS! Apple wouldn't update and it put my phone into recovery mode. TinyUmbrella was NO help. Had to erase the entire thing, then recover from a backup. Luckily I had XBackup, so my Cydia apps were fine, but had to reload everything else (music, movies, podcasts, apps, etc.)

Tried it with iphone 4s 5.1.1 and didn't work. Saying something went wrong back up recovery complete and unplug to try and jailbreak again.

Hi has anyone lost cellular network now after jailbreaking? iPhone 4s 5.1.1

It (Apple) made me do a complete restore and forced an "update" to my network on me that did just that. However, it reloaded my activation after a couple minutes.

The only supported firmware is 5.1.1. You must upgrade first

I've run this several times to completion on my iPad2 (GSM) but I get no Cydia icon. The last screen says "Recovery completed. If you want to retry jailbreaking, unplug your device and plug it back in." What am I missing?

found this post and it worked for me thanks to ipad 3 Weee :) I finally got it working! 1. Download Absithe package 2. Right click - run as admin, this will extract the files in a new folder called absinthe-win-2.0 3. restore the ipad to factory from within Itunes and let it complete (takes a few minutes) 4. Dont touch the ipad, right click and run the absinthe.exe in the new folder 5. Jailbreak

why do i have white icon.. the first time i jailbroke it, my music i con is white.. then i completely restore my iPad 3 then jailbreak it again. everything is perfect till go to cydia and respiring and now my music icon is restored but my safari icon is white. pls help. thanx in advance!

If you encountered problem, do a clean restore. You'll be fine!

I think he meant he still has old baseband and is wondering if ultrasn0w is compatible. I don't know, check the dev team blog they'll announce there. Generally updates for compatability take some time since a lot of the developers are getting this jailbreak the same time as all of us. people generally blame the jailbreak for this when it's not.

it work if you backed up the sam unlock ticket. For some reason the first time i did replace the ticket after restore i can't connect to itune anymore. I fixed the problem by restore before doing jailbreak. I didn't test if it has any problem with the restore after jailbreak. Hope it work for you 2. It seems like many people have different problem with jailbreak tool not working, but it works perfectly fine with my 4s
