T3 has just posted a 3D rendering of what a 5.7-inch 1080p iPhone would look like.

iPhone 5.7 concept: 3D concept render. There's been rumours that Apple is planning to launch an iPhone with a larger screen that'll take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. What will it look like and what would a bigger screen bring to the iPhone? We cranked up the 3D rendering machine.

The concept has a resolution of 1920x1018 which results in a 386 ppi display. It's overall height would be 5.9 inches and width would be 3.16 inches.

Take a look at the video below...

For me is a Plus. The convenience of a Ipad mini in a phone format. What's the big deal? Variarity is for diferent kind of taste. Expand your minds. You don't have to buy it! Just let the others be.

Looks horrible. Just make iPhone 5 slightly wider.

Velkus - June 22, 2013 at 7:49am

I have an iPad mini... another one? No! We don't want a big iPhone like Samsung.

Thoune - June 22, 2013 at 12:15am

I personally like it. It would be better if it was slimmer though.

Luc - June 21, 2013 at 9:22pm

Yuck. I would like a bigger iPhone but *not* with the 16:9 aspect ratio of the iPhone5, but rather with the 3:2 aspect ratio of the iPhone4.

Love it!! Choice is a good thing.

Yeah Baby!!!!!!!!!

i wouldnt mind the bigger screen. looks nice, only reason i went with apple is the fluid of the os. No lagging on the scrolls but i think ill choose the samsung note as my 2nd smart phone if i do get one

emiz - June 21, 2013 at 8:43pm

i have and iphone 5, and i used a galaxy s3 and s4, and keeps laggin in the scrolls, i think thats lame. with all cores, cant be fluid as iOs

Nuck Chorris - June 22, 2013 at 3:04pm

I use a galaxy note 2 and I don't have any scroll lag. The iphone shouldn't lag because it uses a very minimal ui. It doesn't take much processing power to go from a simple screen with a few rows of icons to another with not much else going on in the background.

i doubt apple would go this big and if they did there is no way they would come in at only 386ppi thats still behind the competition

Alen - June 21, 2013 at 4:54pm

No..Apple won't ...it's not iPhone it's iPhablet

danny - June 21, 2013 at 4:49pm

Justin - June 21, 2013 at 4:43pm

Love it

Hideous springs to mind! Why does Apple want to copy Samsung?? Hope this is just a rumour & nothing more

Ludwing Rommel - June 21, 2013 at 4:22pm

5 inchs is the better "no less ,and no more"

Thoughtful - June 21, 2013 at 4:22pm

Concept is for sure awesome job, but i think 5" phone is more than enough 5.7" is too much for that we have 7.9" iPad mini, so all i want 4.7" iPhone that will be enough.

Apple was rejecting the idea of defragmentation, why would they do that and make developers suffer like with Android.

f1982 - June 21, 2013 at 6:05pm

They already have fragmentation. 3.5" standard 3.5" retina 4"retina 7.9" standard 9.7" standard 9.7" retina. Fragmentation is a problem when thee are countless companies each with countless phones running completely different specifications. Apple has control of the hardware and software on a limited number of devices. Adding a 5" device wouldn't cause any problems at all. I would pay through the nose to get that phone!

Karim - June 22, 2013 at 9:23am

So, Apple controlling the hardware will make it easier in the developers to come up with new apps more quickly than what they do or face on android devices?

Zuhair - June 21, 2013 at 4:04pm

This is so ugly!

dribble - June 21, 2013 at 4:03pm

This is the lamest concept video I've seen. All they did was make everything bigger. I could have made the same conceptual phone using a magnifying glass.
