Ashton Kutcher, who plays Steve Jobs in the upcoming 'Jobs' movie, is ironically rumored to be starring in Windows PC ads in a $10 Million deal.
The New York Post is claiming Kutcher is close to signing the 10 million dollar endorsement with Lenovo and he would appear in many ads endorsing the PC. Kutcher is also known for starring in Nikon ads since 2009 until recently the two split.
Ashton Kutcher is continuing to rake in the dough. We’re told the “Jobs” star is close to inking a $10 million endorsement deal with computer company Lenovo, which will include him appearing in a number of ads. Kutcher is no stranger to posing pretty with technology, acting as the face of Nikon since 2009. In April, rumors arose that the relationship soured when Kutcher asked for double his multimillion-dollar salary, with reps for Nikon denying a split.
Jobs, which hits theaters August 16, has had mixed reviews among critics.
You'll flop when you hear this movie gets 4 stars, he not only makes a good look for steve jobs, he does it for apple fans as a memory of what he did, besides this movie would reveal all about how apple started like all of this was real, even his friends from the trailer, most likely his buds, but just because you have to judge a movie based on a true story compared to others doesn't mean you like it, many people have seen movies on true stories and liked it, now it's this ones turn because millions of fans care about apple, steve or no steve.
Does Microsoft think that Ashton Kutcher is going to make me excited about buying Windows 8 and a new PC? Win 8 sucks. Worse than ME. I'd rather have Windows 3.1. I'd rather buy PC hardware and put FreeBSD on it.
Steve Jobs must be rolling over in his grave while Ashton Kutcher, a mediocre actor at best, continues to prove he's skeezy enough to run for political office. While I can understand MS's desire to paint Steve Jobs as 'preferring PCs over Macs', it's SO far from reality I can't picture it EVER working!
