Rumored to get announced as early as Tuesday, April 30, the new Beats Solo Buds will allegedly be priced at $79.99 and be available in Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and Transparent Red. They'll be the cheapest wireless earbuds sold by Apple with a lower price than the original AirPods that retail for $99.
The Beats Solo Buds are said to feature dual-layer transducers to minimize micro-distortions, a custom-designed microphone powered with advanced noise-learning algorithms, Class 11 Bluetooth for extended range, one-touch pairing on Android and iOS, Find My support, up to 18 hours of playback, and a USB-C charging case.
Apple's new Beats Solo 4 will purportedly get upgraded sound, personalized Spatial Audio, Dynamic Head Tracking, UltraPlush cushions, and up to 50 hours of battery life. Additionally, the headphones will support Lossless Audio via USB-C, one-touch pairing with Android and iOS, Find My, hands-free Siri, and Audio Sharing. It's said that the headphones will still support 3.5mm audio input for high resolution battery-free wired playback. With Fast Fuel charging you'll get 5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.
Beats Solo 4 will reportedly cost $199 and come in three colors: Matte Black, Slate Blue, and Cloud Pink. Shipping is set to start on May 2.
