An iPhone features page has been posted on the China Unicom website. Since no announcement has been made this page was likely published by accident. The page indicates that the phone will have both GSM and WCDMA capabilities.
Strangely the release date of the iPhone is listed as July of 2008.
As of the end of April 2008, China Unicom had 125 million GSM subscribers and 43 million CDMA subscribers. Compared to other mobile providers China Unicom is ranked as the world's third-biggest mobile provider.
