Apple has posted a new iPhone 5c video ad titled 'Plastic Perfected' in which it shows off the iPhone 5c's different plastic colors.

Introducing iPhone 5c. A completely new expression of iPhone that's not just for lovers of color. It's for the colorful.

Most of the ad just shows the different colors and materials of the iPhone 5c, and looks similar to the scenes from its iPhone 5c introductory video.

What's wrong with the plastic exactly? Did no one ever own a 3g or 3gs. My 3gs still works just fine. I think color options are a nice idea. If you know any of Apple's history, especially with the iMac's and iBook's, about 10 or so years ago, their computers only came in various colors, unless you got the Pro version. And guess what? They were mainly plastic, too. Seems like they are bringing back some retro Apple designs, nothing wrong with that. As far as price point to the consumer, it's definitely overpriced.

I already have the 5 so of course I will get the 5s instead of the 5c. 5c is pretty much the same as 5 only in different colors which we already were able to achieve by simply putting 5 in a colorful case. Apple should instead have created 2 versions of sizes, small 5 size for people like me and a bigger one with a bigger screen for the people with bigger hands. Love the 3d rendering video ad tho! Simple but cute and effective for 5c.

Gratz Pugman, you're the only one entering the Comments section and commenting on the subject itself - the ad video! Anyway, apart from my views on iPhone 5C, the video was simplistically good and it actually reminded me of the good old Apple videos, rather than the previous ones which were heading towards an alienating direction! (plus we AT LAST we heard another 'indie song' which will make people to download as a trademark song)

I agree regarding the iPhone 5c pricing. Apple had mentioned releasing a cheaper iPhone for those who currently use budget phones like the Galaxy Ace or Lumia 520, yet they released the iPhone 5c for £469. It is only £40 cheaper than the iPhone 5. This seems like a difficult market position.

I don't think many people will be buying the iPhone 5C, as Apple is providing older configurations in a plastic shell. iPhone 5 equals iPhone 5c in configuration but with a plastic casing instead of aluminium. I am not sure about the value for $549. I am happy I switched to HTC One instead.

When Nokia released these colors they were criticized, now Apple has them and it is interesting to see the comparison.

The problem with people are they always think a bigger screen is better. Even though Apple has a smaller screen and lower resolution than its competitors, it doesn't mean it is inferior. There are a lot of people who prefer a smaller screen and even if the resolution is lower, it is about the quality of the resolutions like real colors and etc.
