Marques Brownlee has posted a video demonstrating how the LG G Flex smartphone heals itself after being scratched by keys and a knife.

LG Electronics officially unveiled the LG G Flex, a smartphone curved designed to follow the contour of your face, on October 28th.

Among the several new technologies, the LG G Flex is the first smartphone to apply a "Self Healing" coating on the back cover. The elastic coating has the ability to recover from the daily wear-and-tear scratches and nicks that un-cased smartphones are likely to receive, keeping the device looking newer longer.

LG posted an official video demonstrating the coating which can also be seen below; however, Brownlee's video tests the coating under less than optimal conditions.

Take a look!

Now apple will take patent for curved phone and say its invented by them :)

Now apple will do this, not apple will do that! First off is it confirmed from them yet! Would they just jump on board when someone announces anything! Second this is what samsuck did to keep them alive, the watch was rushed after the iWatch concepts! Thirdly Apple always comes up with reasons why they make their products their way and why it looks like what it is before officially announcing it! We haven't heard from them with reasons about curved displays or watches yet, no? Then they don't copy! 'Nuff said.
