New Nokia Ad: The iPad Will Make You Ignore Your Dog [Video]

Nokia has posted a new ad for its Lumia 2520 tablet that touts its readability in the sun while mocking what appears to be an iPad.

Step out of the shade and enjoy the sun. With the best outdoor readability and 4G, the Nokia Lumia 2520 is the perfect companion anywhere under the sun.

The animated ad highlights a dog who is trying to find someone to play with him. Instead of getting out into the sun and playing with the dog each 'iPad' owner gets frustrated with the reflections on their device, ignores the dog, and moves into the shade.


Finally, the dog encounters an individual with a Lumia 2520 who is able to set up his device in the sun and play with the dog.

This ad from Nokia follows another strange and creepy ad for the device posted recently. Not wanting to be left out, Samsung has also posted a widely criticized ad for its Galaxy Gear Smartwatch ahead of the holidays. Watch that one here.
