Samsung has posted a video that offers the first look at its new Galaxy S5 smartphone.

Join us behind the scenes with host Frankie Vu as we get up close and personal with the Samsung GALAXY S5 and Gear Fit. The new S5 is equipped with a faster, more robust camera, improved durability, a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen, finger scanner, and heart rate monitor, to allow greater integration with your day-to-day life.

Notably, the video mentions the new fingerprint scanner; however, it's not demonstrated.

Take a look at the video below. More details and photos of the device can be found here.

The majority of these comments are moronic and deliberately morose and immature. Do you people even know what you are talking about? If the only model of mobile telephone has always been an iPhone then your opinion will always be bias and will hold no real weight in an argument about it. You do the math. OK firstly, the Samsung Galaxy S5 isn't officially available for sale yet. People have seen a technology preview and further software enhancements could still come. Being an "Apple fan" is just another phrase for gullible technology follower. I've used telephones like this since the dark days of 2G, Nokia bricks, various POS handsets with a few good ones along the way. In respect, not everybody who buys an Apple handset is an idiot. And some actually are not bias and can see the benefits of both sides of the fence. Another misconception, Samsung is not Android although perhaps they are a market leader in some cases. People like samsucks are just "trolls" who have nothing to do other than act the hardman behind a keyboard, typing with one hand, masturbating with the other. Samsung out of the handsets I have used, have been reliable and mostly good - the higher end ones anyhow. Currently I am using LG although I won't rule out Samsung, HTC or Sony either. It's a thing you Apple people don't have - choice!

What choice?

A choice of hardware and operating system UI style. Not just OEM launchers, also 3rd party versions. Security has got a bit tighter and more closed with Knox version 2 though. Although this seems to be more aimed at Corporate networks. I heard they locked the bootloader this time round. Not sure how true that is.

Samsung and apple, it's just a bad pie right out of the oven and should I call it the iSampple. Both are real crap, they are making all the money with your stupidity. and by the way all electronics are made in china. and I don't own neither brand. And at the end HTC is the One. no iSampple
