Apple Posts 'Pride' Video Highlighting its Commitment to Equality and Diversity

Apple has posted a new 'Pride' video on its official YouTube channel highlighting thousands of Apple employees (including CEO Tim Cook) that participated in the Pride Parade in San Francisco.

On June 29, thousands of Apple employees and their families marched in the San Francisco Pride Parade. They came from around the world — from cities as far as Munich, Paris, and Hong Kong — to celebrate Apple's unwavering commitment to equality and diversity. Because we believe that inclusion inspires innovation.

The video shows employees preparing for the parade with Coldplay's 'Sky Full of Stars' playing in the background. Employees marched through the parade and handed out iTunes gift cards worth one free song.

Apple ends with video with the tagline 'Inclusion inspires innovation'

Do I get a incredibly over budgeted parade for having straight pride? Or is that too insensitive and ignorant?

Such parades organized by a corporation is not usually because they fully support the cause, it is a calculated action to increase self-value in public opinion. in a way, it's actually insulting, because it is used as tool.
