A Sneak Peek at Cortana Running on Windows 10 [Video]

WinBeta has posted a video demonstrating a pre-release version of Cortana for Windows 10.

Notably, the look of Cortana doesn't represent the final shipping product. The UI isn't finished. It will likely look much better when unveiled to the public.

From the get go, Cortana can do pretty much everything the Windows Phone version can. This includes reminders, call people with skype, check my location/maps, play/pause music, launch apps, check the weather and more. Right now, Cortana doesn't have a personality in Windows 10, meaning she doesn't answer questions like "Who are you", however we have it on good authority that she will have this ability by the time she rolls out to the public.

Take a look at the video below. For more details on the upcoming release of Windows 10, click here.

Sigh. Looks more like this is meant to humiliate Microsoft. Otherwise, why post it on a platform that is meant to explore (no pun intended) all that is Apple.

to alert when the gullible ads will come. Microsoft can't learn to face the truth.

Remind me, when did Siri last get an update?? That's all I needed to know!

all of a sudden you give a shit? Why bother? Siri got an update but with it or not, cortana still shown that it doesn't do any good. Siri can work with apps to schedule anything and make impressions and do the rest cortana can in general.
