Apple Analyzed Tablet Screens Ranging From 4-12 Inches

Apple has been analyzing tablet screen sizes ranging from 4 to 12 inches according to a new report by Kaufman Bros.

AppleInsider reveals that the amount of screens purchased was large enough to be more then a simple sample.

Kaufman analysts believe that Apple may release multiple new devices in the near future... "We are under the impression that these screens could be used in new form factors including a sub-notebook and/or tablet, and would more likely launch in 2010 as opposed to 2009," the note reads. "As usual, exact timing is always tough to pinpoint as Apple works on its own schedule."


There are conflicting reports as to the timing and validity of the rumored Apple Tablet. AppleInsider reports a date in early 2010 while other online sources such as the Financial Post expect an announcement in September and a release in November.
