1. When can you buy the Adapter? 2. Do you need 3G or a Cell Signal?

That's great... now I need a good review and comparison of all the top-end GPS Navigation apps available before I got out a spend that kind of cash. Any takers?

Why would u spend that kind of cash if u can get it for free? Just jailbreak! For me IGO is the best for all platform included iPhone, then Navigon.

I have two iPhones. One is JB and the other isn't. Frankly, JB slows things down and can be buggy at times. Plus the interaction between plugins, themes, apps and tweaks can make the phone unreliable at times. If you accept to JB then you accept the good and bad sides to it. But if I'm on a trip and need to rely on my phone for everything, it's the non-JB one that I'll use. Besides the whole cat and mouse thing between Apple and the dev- team and the JB apps developers means that you're never quite sure of what will work and what won't. My phones are work tools and I don't mind paying for well supported software whether it's from the Appstore or the Cydia store.

Yea, you are right in most cases, but If you know how to configure some things, Jailbroken iPhone is not slower that stock iPhone. The worst app what slowed down iPhone is Winterboard and some mobile substrates. I stay away from them and everything works perfect.
