Marques Brownlee has posted a hands on video with the new LG Ultrafine 5K Display that Apple introduced at its MacBook Pro event. Unfortunately, it appears as though Apple does not plan on making a new Cinema Display.

The LG UltraFine 5K Display features a 27-inch IPS panel, P3 wide color gamut, and 500 cd/m² of brightness. A single Thunderbolt 3 cable provides up to 85W of charging power to your MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports. Three downstream USB-C ports (5 Gbps) offer additional connectivity and power to compatible devices and accessories.

Apple has discounted the price of both the 4K and 5K UltraFine displays until the end of the year. The UltraFine 4K display now costs $524.00 down from $699.95. The UltraFine 5K is now $974.00 down from $1,299.95.

Take a look at Brownlee's unboxing below...

Regarding the tech specs the three USB-C ports are USB 2 (480 Mbps) only! Apple might know how this makes sense :)

This is only true on the 4K, not the 5K. The 5K has 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB ports on the rear. The 4K version, has limited bandwidth because it can also work on the MacBook, not just the Thunderbolt equipped MacBook Pros.
