Rumors are circling that the new iPhone will have a glossy black back, replacing the satin nickel look on the current model. Most likely this is just a photoshop image or custom mod; however, we will post it for discussion. It is possible that the back might need replacing to help accommodate the new antennas that will need to be inside the 3G iPhone.
If iPodObserver.com's source is correct, the redesigned iPhone back also drops the black plastic end piece that covers the antenna, and it appears that Apple will continue to offer an 8GB model.

It could be - there have been quite a few complaints on how 'comfy' the iPhone is to use - the 'rounded' back would help - not a fan of gloss though.

yeah Apple would not put something like this out...this doesn't look like typical apple design. Apple is much more elegant!

If it's a photoshop image, it's a really well done one..... I like the ones iClarified brought to our attention in Feb.
