قدمت (ذي اونيون) تقرير بأن الرئيس التنفيذي الجديد لشركة أبل توم كوك "يفكر في الطابعات" وانه سوقف اطلاق هاتف أبل الجديد ايفون 5 على الاقل لاربع سنوات

عقب استقالة مؤسسة أبل ستيف جوبس من منصبه، دعا الرئيس التنفيذي الجديد للشركة تيم كوك الى اجتماع للمساهمين واعضاء الصحافة صباح اليوم الخميس ليعلن يتصور أن اطابعات هي مستقبل الشركة. "طابعات الليزر والحبر النفاث وطباعة الوجهين والملونة والاسود والابيض، الطابعات هي مستقبل التكنولوجيا، وانا مقتنع تماماً بذلك"، واوضح كوك في القاعة المكتظة منتاج عن الطابعات واشخاص يستخدمون الطابعات في شاشة خلفه "ما الذي يحتاجه الناس دائماً؟ إنه واضح: الطابعات، طابعات بجهاز فاكس مدمج، طابعات تجمع وتدبس، ربما طابعات تعمل كتصوير مستندات، كل شيء ممكن. انه يدعى الابتكار". وخلص كوك تصريحاته بطمأنة المستثمرين بأنه سيتم تأجيل الاطلاق لمنتجات أبل القادمة مثل (ايفون 5) لأربع سنوات على الاقل وذلك حتى تستطيع الشركة ان تلقي كامل وقتها ومواردها في صنع الطابعات عالية الجودة للمنزل والمكتب

HP abandoned production of mobile devices, Apple wants printers, and tomorrow Google will announce that they gonna get into scanners because cellphones have not future at all [sarcasm alert]...
