Dies sind die Anweisungen, wie Sie Ihr iPhone 4 mit der 4.3.1 Firmware mit Hilfe von RedSn0w für Mac Jailbreaken.

Wenn Sie einen Jailbreak an einer niedrigeren Firmware-Version durchführen wollen, finden Sie die entsprechende Anleitung hier.

Achten Sie darauf, nicht auf iOS 4.3.1 zu aktualisieren, wenn Sie einen Unlock benötigen, da dieser noch nicht erschienen ist!

Schritt 1
Erstellen Sie einen Ordner auf Ihrem Desktop mit dem Namen Pwnage

Laden Sie RedSn0w hier herunter und verschieben es in den Pwnage Ordner. Laden Sie außerdem die neueste Firmware 4.3.1 über den unten aufgeführten Link herunter und legen Sie diese im gleichen Ordner ab.

4.3.1 (4 GSM): iPhone3,1_4.3.1_8G4_Restore.ipsw

Entpacken Sie die Zip-Datei RedSn0w durch Doppelklick.

Schritt 2
Verbinden Sie Ihr iPhone mit dem Computer und starten Sie iTunes.

Wählen Sie Ihr iPhone, in der Liste der Geräte auf der linken Seite, aus. Halten Sie nun die Taste alt gedrückt und klicken Sie auf Wiederherstellen (Restore). Die Wiederherstellung wird bevorzugt, um keinen Speicherplatz auf Ihrem iPhone zu verschwenden.

Navigieren Sie zum Pwnage Ordner auf Ihrem Desktop und wählen Sie die Firmware 4.3.1 ipsw. Klicken Sie auf Auswählen, um fortzufahren.

Schritt 3
Sobald iTunes die Aktualisierung Ihres iPhone auf die gewünschte Firmware beendet hat, öffnen Sie den Pwnage Ordner auf Ihrem Desktop und starten Sie die redsn0w Anwendung aus dem Redsn0w Ordner, welchen wir zuvor entpackt haben.

Schritt 4
Sobald RedSn0w geöffnet ist, klicken Sie auf Durchsuchen (Browse)

Schritt 5
Wählen Sie die 4.3.1 Firmware ipsw, welche wir in den Pwnage Ordner auf dem Desktop abgelegt haben und klicken Sie dann auf Öffnen (Open).

Schritt 6
Sobald die Firmware überprüft wurde, klicken Sie auf Weiter (Next), um fortzufahren.

Schritt 7
RedSn0w wird nun die Jailbreak Daten vorbereiten

Schritt 8
In diesem Fenster können Sie nun die gewünschten Jailbreak-Optionen auswählen.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Cydia ausgewählt ist und klicken Sie auf Weiter (Next), um fortzufahren.

Schritt 9
Verbinden Sie bitte Ihr iPhone mit dem Computer und stellen Sie sicher, dass es AUS ist und klicken dann auf Weiter (Next).

Schritt 10
RedSn0w führt Sie nun durch die einzelnen Schritte, um in den DFU-Modus zu gelangen. Weitere Hilfe zum DFU-Modus finden Sie hier

Halten Sie sowohl die Home-Taste als auch die Einschalt-Taste an Ihrem iPhone für 10 Sekunden gedrückt.

Lassen Sie nun die Einschalt-Taste los und halten die Home-Taste weiterhin gedrückt, bis RedSn0w das Gerät erkennt.

Schritt 11
Ihr iPhone wird nun neugestartet.

Schritt 12
RedSn0w beginnt dann mit dem Hochladen der neuen RAM-Disk und Kernel.

Schritt 13
Sobald dies abgeschlossen ist, werden Sie darüber informiert, dass RedSn0w fertig ist. Klicken Sie auf Abschließen (Finish). Wenn Ihr iPhone mit dem Neustarten fertig ist (5 Minuten oder so) ist es mit Cydia auf dem Springboard gejailbreakt.

Hey. I really need help from experts. I bought an Iphone 4 which was used on AT&T and now I want to use it with another carrier. It has 4.1.0 software and 2.10.04 version. The question is: Is it possible to unlock (redsnow) my phone jailbreaking it to 4.3.3 using the custom file of this tutorial. Thank you very much in advance.

There is no .ipsw file to download... there is a 600+MB .zip file with no .ipsw files on it... Redsnow wont recognize any of those .... =/

Hello! I run version 4.1 with baseband version 02.10.04. I saved with TinyUmbrella my SHSH. I tried to jailbreak using pwnage tool (mac) 4.3.3 but it didn't work. When I finish DFU mode with sucess and I try to restore Itunes with iPhone3,1_4.3.3_8J2_Custom_Restore.ipsw there is massage in Itunes This device isn't eligible for the requested build. Please someone can help me?

I have current 4.3.3 firmware on my iPhone 4. Do I need to perform the restore step with the .ipsw files or can I simply move straight to a jailbreak with redsn0w_mac_0.9.6rc15?

What is the point of listing a new jailbreak and including comments that dont relate to it inn terms of currentness? I mean it came out last night and we have comments going back through several months. It makes no sense and now I have no signal after jailbreaking with pwnage, and im factory unlocked, then I jailbroke with rednsow and it didnt help, now I am factory restoring and will try again. This site used to actually care about the info it provided. Now it seems really sloppy like noone cares what the tutorials say. Sad state of affairs as one hacker after the other get high paying jobs with Apple to stop their work.

Mine won't jailbreak. I run version 4.3.2, updated using the method explained above. I do not really care for unlock at this moment. I run baseband version 02.10.04. Right now, besides the faulty signal strength indicator (never show anything but 1 bar) everything runs fine on my phone. Once I try to run RedSn0w, it gives me an unexpected error. If I put it in DFU mode manually before running the tool, it says it's pushing limerain to the phone, then give me an unexpected error again. What is wrong? Anyone else running in the same error? thanks for any tips.

Anyone else cannot restore 4.3.2 on their phone? I'm trying to upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.3.2 even if I try full restore from iTunes, or custom restore, or DFU, I always get a damn error 1013. Any ideas?

The weird part, is even damn tinyumbrella fix does not work, nor a full iTunes restore. Scary... I'm tempted to call apple care at this point, could they know the phone was jailbroken before? The phone won't even boot!!!

Thanks Daniel, much appreciated. Unfortunately, my host file is backed up, and no entry to apple (I hate when software force name resolution). That didn't do it. To add a twist to the story, I have 2 iPhones. I plugged my older iPhone, and iTuns still complained that a phone in restore mode was connected! iTunes actually displayed 2 phones connected to my dismay. Something is definitely going on. Ghost connection? New Apple "security feature" ?

after jailbreaking i still have the no signal cosmetic issue, but afiter i install the ultrasn0w fix, my mms stopped working. Any fix for the fix lol?

I tried restoring with the IPSW file and it keeps telling me iPhone could not be restored. tried restoring with iTunes and I get the same message. Now my phone is on restore mood and I can't get out of it.

* Open Finder * Hold down COMMAND + SHIFT keys and press G * Enter /private/etc/ in the field and press Go * Find hosts file in the directory * Drag the file to your desktop * Open it in text editor * Remove the line that has gs.apple.com entirely or put a # at the beginning of it to comment it out * Save the file * Drag it back to the /private/etc/ folder. * Youd need to enter your username and password to authenticate the move
