Estas son las instrucciones en como realizar un jailbreak libre en su iPhone 4S usando Absinthe para Mac.

Advertenci***: Antes de que continue asegurese de crear una copia de seguridad de su dispositivo en iTunes porque puede perder sus imajenes en este proceso.

Paso Uno
Descargar la ultima version de Absinthe de aqui.

Paso Dos
Doble click para extraer el archivo descargado y lanzar la aplicacion Absinthe .

Paso Tres
Al pedircelo, conecte su iPhone 4S a la computadora via USB. Asegurese de eliminar cualquier codigo de acceso o ajustes VPN que usted previamente hayga configurado.

Paso Quatro
Dar click al boton Jailbreak para comenzar.

Paso Cinco
La aplicacion lo guiara a traves de varios pasos para el jailbreak: Enviando datos iniciales, Esperando reinicio, Esperando que el dispositivo inicie, Preparando datos de jailbreak, y Enviando datos de carga util.

Paso Seis
Se le imformara que el jailbreak esta 'casi terminadod'.

Paso Siete
En su dispositivo, ubique elicono Absinthe y presionelo para completar su jailbreak. puede estar en cualquier pajina de inicio.

Si el servidor esta caido y obtiene un mensaje Error establishing a database connection entonces toque el icono Settings en su pajina de inicio y encienda el VPN.

Usted obtendra un error de configuracion; comosea, despues de un minuto mas o menos su dispositivo se reiniciara con Cydia en la pajina de inicio.

amm, hi i have iPhone 4s I ALREADY download and setup absinthe and it works , then i upgrade iOS 5.0 to 5.1.0 now i`m getting this message sorry the attached device is not supported when im trying to install the absinthe. any advice please thanks and regards,

Because Absinthe dosent support iphone 4s on 5.1.0 yet, there no jailbreak for the 4s on 5.1.0 keep waiting and hoping??????????????

You're using an iPhone 4 .. this is for 4S only .. use Redsn0w to jailbreak iPhone 4 on 5.0.1

Having a hard time jailbreaking. For some reason Absinthe says it can't load it all the way in the app and refers me to do the VPN setting. I turn it on and nothing happens in the process. Any help?

Doesnt work for me. The app crashes on my mac as soon as I plug in the iphone4s. Not sure why or what to do. Also tried on a windows pc and the jailbreak button never goes active for me to press it.

Just want to tell you that when I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 4s on 5.0.1 with Absinthe it failed all the time like for some others. But the solution to my problem was to update to firmware 5.0.1 (iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.ipsw) first. I was on 5.0.1 but on a earlier release (iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw) which apperantly was NOT compatible with Absinthe.

Just wanted to thank you for this info. I've been trying for about 2 hours thinking I was doing something obvious wrong but I guess I've just got the wrong firmware :-( Updating now :-)

First of all, I know this entry shouldn't be here. But I don't know where else to turn. I would love to update my iPhone 3gs to 5.0.1. But I don't know how since my power button is busted and I can't put the phone in DFU. I have googled about putting the phone in DFU without the use of buttons, but I'm afraid it might brick my phone :-( Any help would be much appreciated!!! Has anyone been through this problem?

Anyone with white screen issues after hitting Absinthe, try closing all apps including Absinthe, then turn VPN on in settings. It will likely give you an error, that's ok. Then hit Absinthe again and it should work.
