O iPhone Dev-Team está alertando as pessoas acerca do roubo e venda não autorizados do desbloqueio yellowsn0w.

Aparentemente o “Jody Sanders” de West Midlands, Reino Unido (o qual mencionamos em nosso post de lançamento) mais uma vez está roubando nosso trabalho e fazendo o mesmo passar como se fosse dele. Ele já fez isso antes e essa enganação já foi anteriormente denunciada pelo Guardian (jornal inglês) e também por nós, e foi abordada em uma longa discussão no forum hackint0sh.

Nós especificamente restringimos o uso comercial de nosso software, e o yellowsn0w está incluído nessas restrições. Esse espetalhão está vendendo nosso software à vocês pela bagatela de £19.99, como ele mesmo disse:-

“Nós já podemos desbloquear totalmente seu iPhone 3G para ser utilizado em qualquer rede GSM por apenas £19.99 FVM (“faça você mesmo") (£49.99 na loja, em Londres ou Birmingham) – em tempo para o lançamento do iPhone 3G PAYG no Reino Unido (disponível através da Carphone Warehouse e o2).”

O iPhone Dev-Team pede a todos que tenham mais informações sobre iph*neunl*ckuk e Jody Sanders para contatá-los pelo blog@iphone-dev.org. Eles também agradecem por qualquer opinião ou assistência legal.

archer1702, Please read before you post such a comment. It is perfectly legal to unlock the phone. The DEV Team is giving free software that does not infringe on any rights. What they are giving you is perfectly legal.

I wish I can find those stupid thieves I am right now in London and I don't know where to find them I am sorry about the hard has been done by the dev team we all know it is a hard work but dev team has to put in mind that we all love you and support you if I find those thieves I will let you know.

I emailed the site asking if their method is the same as yellowsn0w. Here's the reply:"Hi Yes it is... You can use our support service if you wish or get it for free at blog.iPhone-dev.org Up to you! Kind regards, Jody Sanders" Sent from my unlocked iPhone
