Apple's press event isn't for another six days; however, some excited Apple fans are already in line for the iPhone 6!

Dan Benton tweeted a photo of the lineup he spotted at the flagship Fifth Ave Apple Store.

I wonder how many of these first sold iphones will end up in drop tests. Anyway, these guys seem to be professional line standers, so don't feel bad for them, they get paid for every day sitting there in the line.

This photo seems to me so close to a photo published a out a year ago about people waitinc for the iPhone 5S availability that i wonder: are these the same guys as one year ago wlling to vave again their 5 minute celebrity, or does someone recycle the year ago photo?

I don't get it, the announcement date is different from the release date of the phone. Wouldn't that mean these people will be waiting well past the announcement date? Dedication right there.

You are correct. If you love drawing and find a career that allows you to draw all day, then life well spent. If you like muscle cars and spent $100,000.00 and waited for 6 months to get the car, then life well spent. I, for 1, do not like either of those things, but some do, so for them, yes, life well spent. A little knowledge with your coffee. Stop Hating

They are obviously getting paid for that! they are many people who pay for spots in line or for the phone itself! they are making good money out of it! Now if they are not, thats just stupid. I won't lie tho, I have stayed up until 3 in the morning to pre-order mine online, but it's a bit different because I wait at home and I usually go to bed at 2 am anyways!

Why would u stand online when u can wait the day of in the morning for 6 hrs and get one. Why suffer the hardship and at a limit of 2 iPhones presumably carrier locked on the debut why would anyone pay good money to sell their coveted spot. How much would u pay the day of for a top 10 maybe 100 bucks lol
