Apple has received a record 89 nominations across 15 programs for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, setting a new high for the streaming service.
With nominations spanning 15 Apple Originals, the streaming service led all networks in the Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Comedy Series categories. "Widow's Bay," "Shrinking," "Margo's Got Money Troubles," "Pluribus," "Slow Horses," and "Your Friends & Neighbors" all earned top program nominations. Winners will be announced on September 14.
Top Apple TV Nominees
"Widow's Bay" led Apple's nominations with 19 total nods, making it one of this year's most-nominated programs. The series was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, with acting nominations for Matthew Rhys, Kate O'Flynn, Dale Dickey, Stephen Root, Hamish Linklater, and Betty Gilpin. It also received nominations for writing, directing, editing, casting, cinematography, music, sound, and production design.
"Pluribus" followed with 18 nominations after its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Rhea Seehorn, writing and directing nominations for creator Vince Gilligan, a supporting actor nomination for Carlos-Manuel Vesga, a supporting actress nomination for Karolina Wydra, and guest acting nominations for Jeff Hiller and Miriam Shor.
"Shrinking" received 10 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting nominations for Jason Segel, Jessica Williams, Harrison Ford, Michael Urie, Michael J. Fox, and Brett Goldstein. The nomination marks Fox's first acting Emmy nomination in over a decade.
"Margo's Got Money Troubles" made its Emmy debut with eight nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Elle Fanning, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Michelle Pfeiffer, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Nick Offerman.
"Slow Horses" earned nine nominations, including its third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Drama Series. The series also received nominations for Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Jonathan Pryce, writing, directing, production design, casting, and original dramatic score.
"Your Friends & Neighbors" received its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.

"Palm Royale" received eight nominations, including production design, choreography, costumes, hairstyling, makeup, music composition, stunt coordination, and stunt performance.
"Murderbot" made its Emmy debut with three nominations for sound editing, title design, and original main title theme music. "Mr. Scorsese" received three nonfiction nominations, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series, while "The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy" earned two nominations, including Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.
"Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age" received two nominations, including special visual effects and music composition. Apple also received single nominations for "The Morning Show," "Foundation," "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," and "Smoke," plus two nominations in the Outstanding Commercial category for "A Critter Carol" and "I'm Not Remarkable."
Apple Awards Totals
Apple says its original films, documentaries, and series have now received 850 wins and 3,734 award nominations to date. The company highlighted previous Emmy success for "The Studio," "Ted Lasso," and "Severance," along with awards recognition for "CODA" and "F1."
