Nearly 100 iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro Parts Come From U.S. Suppliers
Nearly 100 parts in iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro come from U.S. suppliers across more than a dozen states, Apple said today as it detailed new and expanded manufacturing partnerships.

Among the new partners is Perryman Company, a family-owned titanium producer in Pennsylvania. Apple is committing up to $100 million over three years with the business, which melts, forges, and rolls titanium at its Houston, Pennsylvania site for products including iPhone Duo.

The titanium supplied for iPhone Duo contains at least 80 percent recycled material. The phone uses a grade 5 titanium enclosure, with Perryman joining Apple's American Manufacturing Program as a materials partner.

Qnity, headquartered in Delaware, joined the program in March and will produce advanced films in the U.S. for the variable-aperture system in the iPhone 18 Pro's 48MP Fusion Main camera. The camera uses on-device intelligence to adjust the aperture for lighting conditions, opening to admit more light in darker settings and adjusting for sharper detail in brighter ones.

U.S. Supplier Updates
Broadcom is expanding and modernizing its Fort Collins, Colorado facility under the $1.5 billion capital investment announced in July. The site produces radio-frequency components for Apple products, with the multiyear agreement covering production of more than 15 billion U.S.-made chips.
Coherent supplies vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser technology from Sherman, Texas, for Face ID and other iPhone and iPad features, including the Dynamic Island on iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. In Arizona, TSMC continues expanding chip production for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch; Apple puts the fab's 2026 output for its products at more than 100 million chips, while construction progresses on the north campus.
For display protection, Corning produces specialty glass, including Ceramic Shield, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Apple says that by the end of 2026, all cover glass for iPhone, including Duo, and Apple Watch sold worldwide will be produced at that facility. The partnership dates to the original iPhone in 2007.
Amkor Technology is building a high-volume chip packaging and test facility in Peoria, Arizona, with Apple among its first customers. Groundbreaking took place in September 2025 and shell construction began this year. The first two phases are expected to support more than 3,500 local hires.
Manufacturing Program and Training
The partnerships fall under the American Manufacturing Program, launched in 2025 as part of Apple's existing $600 billion, four-year U.S. manufacturing and innovation commitment. The company says it works with suppliers in all 50 states and supports more than 450,000 American jobs.
Apple also pointed to its 20,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston, Texas, which opened in August. Engineers there train small- and medium-sized businesses on production methods, including final assembly and printed circuit board assembly design. The center shares a facility with Apple's advanced AI server manufacturing operation, where Mac mini production is due to begin this year.
