They can blame him all they want but at the end of the day he didn't have the final say on the final product.

Hard luck Mr. Papermaster. You are the fall guy. It is likely that there were other key players in allowing the prod. of the model to continue, with the flaw/defect. Cheers.

First off it is doubtful if he was even responsible for the antenna since he only came to work for Apple a year ago. Furthermore I doubt that a 'hardware engineer' would be responsible for something that is clearly a design flaw. But then again, Steve can't (certainly won't) fire himself and Jon Ivey as his creative executioner won't have to worry either.
