iOS 4.3 Reportedly Causes iPod Graphical Glitches, Apple TV Screen Flickering

iOS 4.3 users are reporting various issues with the new update including graphical glitches on the iPod touch and screen flickering with the Apple TV.

Engadget reports that "We're seeing dozens of reports online of iPod touch users, particularly those with fourth generation models, who are seeing odd graphical glitches since updating to 4.3. These are most noticeable on the lock screen, as you can see above and in the focus-challenged video below, but people are reporting other issues as well, like overlapping icons and other pixel oddities."

In regards to the Apple TV screen flickering, an Apple support representative has confirmed to AppleInsider that Apple is aware of the issues caused by the latest update. "The Cupertino, Calif., company is said to be working on a fix that will address the screen flickering problems for a small number of users."

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

I was having the same thing happening to my iPod and now the whole screen is a bright white and strobes what do i do please help

Thank you for the link. I just mailed Apple about the same problem I was having. These are some of the problems I am having. 1> Ipod is extremely slower now. It takes forever now to do anything on it. 2> Locks up several times a day. 3> I have to do constant hard resets. 4> I get flickering on the login screen were I enter my 4 digits. 5> I get flickering on the wifi icon and sometimes on the programs I run. I have done a reset of all the settings, done hard resets with no luck. Now that I see it's a IOS problem I hope there is a fix soon. So much for pushing out this upgrade so fast. Good luck to us all.

same hea .apple iOS 4.3 sucks I'm really disappointed with new iOS let hope apple releases new iOS soon .. Ya and processing speed is also too slow

I am not that lucky to have iphone4, iPad and iPod hence I will stick to the device I have updated. It's the first generation iPad and to tell you the truth I was better off on 4.2. Since upgrading my 3G stopped working intermittently and required reboot, the graphical performance has gone downhill and hence I had to restore my device twice. Why do apply release these updates without proper testing.

Im glad mine isn't the only one. Using an iPod touch 4th Gen 64gb and get this exact same kinda flickering on messages, and sometimes elsewhere too. Was worried my screen was going. Hope they can fix it soon. The video is fine for showing the problem. If you experienced It you'd recognize it from the video, out of focus or not.

Is anyone having issues accessing content from iTunes via their apple tv? I keep having to de-authorize then reauthorize my MacBook pro's iTunes (10.2.1) for either of my apple tvs to be able to play it's content. Various calls to apple & they have me shut down the pro, push shift+control+option (on left side of keyboard) + power button 1 time. Then turn the pro back on.
