I guess I will never understand why everybody against MMS (which delivers almost all features the article mentions), but everybody cheers if another one of those AIM/ICQ/ and whatsoever clients appear... You can only reach a small fraction of potential addressees through these services, but you can reach almost everybody using MMS (except us iPhone users, of course...).
