How do you SSH the phone.

Do not expect this app to be available into the official appstore. In order to receive MMS, SwirlyMMS uses Apple private API, not available with the official iPhone SDK. So Apple won't allow this app into the appstore : Using unpublished API is forbidden by Apple.

for us in uk on 02 we have a problem o2 iphones dont support mms so o2 wont activate mms services to are sim cards even if they do it one picture message will cost you 4 standard texts everytime off your bundle ,also you wont be able to receive incoming mms because o2 will send you a text to check online to veiw your mms because they know iphone does not support mms so wont send it to your phone , shame really

Reporting from Singapore. It works perfectly between difference telcos, phone models and of cause, between 2 iPhones. Speed and quality of picture received is top class. It is simply awesome! Cheers!

Those of you who are getting an error when trying to send and receive, if it says your demo license has expired it's because you had a demo license in the past with that phone and it logged your serial. If you pay the $8 everything will work fine, I did it myself so I can vouch for that. If you never had SwirlyMMS on your phone you will get a demo license for 14 days and then you'll have to pay. Hope this helps

The update says that you dont need to do the installation below. I went to Cydia and it was just there. Only problem is that MSS not working with the Vodacom settings here in South Africa... anyone got any clues ??

Such a shame these guys are not designers - amazing app but all about anti-user-experience.

Nothing happened after SSHing. Please remove the link, since i don't want everyone trying this non working file.

The permissions are the same.

kloquewerk - September 16, 2008 at 3:09pm
Actually when you go to manage, the repo shows there but if you click it, there's nothing in there. What's with that?? Was this taken down because it was leaked?? A link to the .app itself would be nice...
kloquewerk
kloquewerk - September 16, 2008 at 3:03pm
Perhaps a permission issue on the file? Anyone tried to see what the permissions are on the other files in that folder and duplicate it? I can't SSH into my phone right now...
