Bubble Surprise has introduced MyGifts List 1.1 for iOS, their new Lifestyle app that provides an attractive template for users to create and manage their holiday gift list. The template includes fields for: Name, Price, Gift, Store, and Notes. Also included are fields for a live or library photo of the recipient and of the gift, and a checkoff when purchased. Featuring integrated Twitter and Facebook connectivity, MyGifts List is the ideal way to plan and organize holiday gift giving. The international app is localized for five different languages: U.S. English, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), and Spanish.
On launch in portrait orientation, the app can display one of two screens: Gift Details or MyGifts List. The attractive Details screen employs Apple's gray linen background with black text. There are five empty text fields that the user can input (Person's Name, Price of Gift, Name of Gift, Store for Gift, and Notes), plus two empty picture fields where live photos or library pictures can be used to illustrate the recipient and the gift. The layout is simple, neat, and clean with no extraneous fields or design elements. The contents of the Gift Details screen can be easily shared via built-in Twitter and Facebook connectivity.
Touching the "Save" button after completing the Gift Details screen, displays the MyGifts List screen, in festive red with white and black letters. Here, shoppers can view a vertically scrollable list of each gift item they have entered. There are eight listings on a single iPhone screen, and the photo (optional) of each person is displayed at the start of each line listing. The recipient's name and the planned gift are shown in boldface, while the estimated price and the store is shown in normal typeface. At the far right of each listing is a red or green price tag icon, indicating that the gift remains to be purchased or has already been purchased. Touching any listing opens it for editing on the Gift Details screen. A convenient "Sort" button orders the list alphabetically by name, with unpurchased gifts at the top of the list, and purchased items at the bottom.
