After jailbreak with absinte 2.0.1 iPhone 4s cannot delete apps

Hey there, my jailbreak was succesful on my iphone 4, but when i try to install any ipa, i get error failed to install. Like i tried installing NOVA3 game and it said falied to install nova 3. what can be the issue as the jailbreak was successful and cydia is on my springboard. Anyone?

It says my iphone 4 on 5.1.1 is an unsupported device. And then redsnow says unrecognized build.

I think you update your iphone 4 to the newly ios 5.1.1(9b208). You have to download the build 9b206 for your phone from this website and shift+ restore to build 9b206.

Ty, i wish that would have been more prominently displayed on sites, but BigBoss says that an update will probably be out soon, so hopefully that works. I actually just did the downgrade and then absinthe....super easy...

I was able to jailbreak successfully, but somehow my Photo Albums are messed up. I want to unjailbreak and re-jailbreak it again. How can I do that? I tried to erase all content and settings from reset, but it's just spinning and nothing happens. Eventually I have to reboot the iPhone to get it back to normal. How can I unjailbreak the iPhone?

you have to restore it through iTunes to "un-jailbreak"

just re-install Firmware 5.1.1 again from iTune

It happens to me as well. 1. After jailbreaking, tried [Reset - Erase All Content and Settings] => hung (just the pearl rotating and never continues) 2. Adding whatever new cydia source (http://repo.bingner.com) also hungs

Didn't work for me on iPhone 4. Continuously crashes in Windows version after about a minute of installing the JB. Hey u should try doing the jailbreak on redsnow. Then after the jailbreak just go into cydia sections >systems> Rocky Racon to untether the jailbreak.... Let me kno if you need more help!

To fix the "lockdown error -5" error others are reporting to do the following: go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings. Then make sure you download Absinthe 2.0.1 and run it again.

If using Lion or a mac and you kept getting the same error Use windows, it happened to me like 20 times till I decided to use windows and everything worked perfect... now I have my iPad 3 Jailbroken.

Jailbroke fine and Cydia worked great but... I received a white phone icon similar to the previous white cydie icon. I also got a screen flicker in all four corners. Tried hard reset and also respring and same issue. Went back to factory 5.1.1 and flicker still exists, tried restore and same issue also tried to setup the phone as a new iPhone and flicker continued.

jailbreak works fine on 4s. it took two tries. but bigboss and zodtt sources are still problematic. so am unable to install cydia apps :( tried deleting and re-adding zoddtt and it just sits there "downloading packages"…….. zzzzzzz

For me new iPad worked on a PC but iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 worked only on my Mac, it kept crashing all the time on a PC with windows Vista and Windows 7

WIth ultra snow your going to have to make sure you have a supported baseband. then install ultra snow fixer 5.1.1 then reinstall the original ultrasn0w, if u need step by step let me know I can help...

Has anybody successfully restored the Lockdown folder (from SAM unlock hack) after using Absinthe 2.01?

I did my replace my lockdown folder after jailbreak and it work great.

Well Iman iphone 4 user also an ultrsn0w user and i did preserve my baseband as usual to 5.1.1 then jail broke and installed ultrasn0w and getting "No Service"

Hey guys! Easy fix, Just install ultraslow fixer 5.1.1, then reinstall ultraslow and let it respiring and you should be good to go.. Hit me back up if u need step by step...

I still have the freezing issue in the "sending initial jailbreak data" using the Mac version.

You have to do a full restore not just erase device in the setting menu that will not work hook it upto iTunes do a restore and very important when it reboots first time after restore do NOT setup!! Just plug into absinthe at that point and jailbreak away I have done 7 devices all different models of pads pods and phones all worked great!!!!!

I kept getting same error over and over and over and over using a Mac so I decided to try it on windows and it worked perfect... so it's a lion thing, try Windows.

Most likely this is why I am having problems with Sydia: When any new major Jailbreak is released a lot of people seem to end up having problems with Cydia. When this happens they think something went wrong with their Jailbreak and there is a problem to do with Cydia itself. In reality however, there are so many people trying to access Cydia after Jailbreaking their iOS Device that the servers are actually being bogged down to the point where they do not function. The most common error that people receive when downloading Cydia packages is “HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error“. If you are experiencing this error or another error completely, chances are it is just because so many people are trying to access Cydia at the same time. Which makes sense considering Absinthe 2.0 was just released to Jailbreak all iOS Devices running the iOS 5.1.1 firmware Untethered.

It's just the servers being overloaded from the new jailbreakers. It'll clear eventually.

How I can enable battery percentage in ipodtouch? Redsn0w has an option to enable it during jailbreak but absinthe does not have! I want to enable battery percentage from ipod setting not sbsetting

You can do it in sb settings

Download battery percentage from cydia and install it.

Use Redsnow 0.9.10b8b to jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 tethered. Once you have that done, install Rocky Raccoon from cydia and ta dah!! Untethered jailbreak with battery percentage.

It's only for those who had a absinth freeze during jailbreak...

So for the people that already jailbroke using 2.0.0 of absinthe, I'm assuming that you can simply re-jailbreak using the updated absinthe. I haven't noticed any problems with the 2 iPad 3rd gens that I jailbroke earlier today.

My guess is that you won't have to rerun it. Only for people who had problems.
