Apple has released the iPhone 2.2 firmware update which features Google Street View, public transit and walking directions, and more.

phoned apple street view and transport will be available in 2 weeks in the uk also been told a update 2.3 in 5 weeks that's a suprise

when you enter a street address it will come up like normal bit you will notice on the left of the name there will be a red circle with a pic of a guy tap on that and it will take you to google street view

im have 2.1 firmware on a 2g iphone which is unlocked and jailbroken can i update to 2.2? many thanks

and them that it is unacceptable that we do not get the new features released with Google Maps. (Street View, Walking Directions, Transit)

Anyone here knows what is the direct links to the iPhone Firmware Files ? My iTunes is not checking and download beyond my enterprise proxy.
