Video Editing Tools Found in iPhone OS 3.0?

BenM.at has found evidence of a video editing application in the iPhone OS 3.0 firmware.

In the beta Firwmare 3.0 of the iPhone OS have now been also hints at a video-editing program.

Using this editing Apps (iMovie app) Self videos are cut and can be modified.


The following screenshot shows the UIimages folder, marker, also In and Out markers.

Do you think that the video capture/editing part would be for only new Iphone's?, I am supposing that based on what they said about the blue tooth functionality on first generation Iphone that it won't be available, also it can be to force you to buy a new Iphone even when you don't need one.
