Orange has released an application for the iPhone which brings up to 60 TV channels to the device.
The application is called "TV d'Orange" and operates using 3G or Edge but not Wi-Fi. Channels include TF1, France 2, France 3, France 5, M6 and Arte among many others.
According to SiliconRumors the first 20 channels are free with most of the iPhone plans however the 40 other channels are part of special subscriptions.
Orange had to go through a long battle against Apple so as to be able to make this service possible as the two companies had some disagreements on the DRM technology that would be used.
