Apple Prototyping Surface-Style Keyboard for iPad?

Apple has reportedly been prototyping a Surface-style keyboard cover for the iPad, according to Jamie Ryan, a former employee.

Ryan has been speaking with several people at Apple who told him about the prototypes.

It’s not clear whether the process is far enough along to make this Tuesdays event but they did say a few different styles had been in testing for a while. This would certainly allow Apple to differentiate the larger iPad from its little brother and market it as the more ’pro’ of the 2. Apple already sells a Bluetooth keyboard that functions perfectly with the iPad but it’s not quite as integrated as Microsofts offering, requiring a lot more bag space.

It's unclear if the case will be introduced tomorrow, or ever; however, it's yet another thing to look out for at Apple's "We Still Have a Lot to Cover" event.

What, you think nobody made a fold up keyboard before microsuck used it? You need to look at all the 3rd party keyboards that came out for the iPad, years before the POS surface came along. Now if you're looking for the biggest techno thieves, you can't go past microsuck. They stole the Mac OS and made windows. Without it, there would be no microsuck. Apple stole nothing. They just improve them.
