Apple has confirmed to Fortune's Philip Elmer-DeWitt that the new 8GB iPhone 5c is only launching in the U.K., France, Germany, Australia and China.
Apple PR confirms: 8GB iPhone 5C available only in U.K., France, Germany, Australia and China…
Of course, this could change if the device does well in those regions; however, if you are waiting for an 8GB iPhone 5c to launch elsewhere today, it's not going to happen.
The 8GB model is selling for £40 less than the 16GB model in the UK. More details here.

So essentially £5 for every GB of storage before formatting when going between 8 and 32GB. Bargain.
