Apple Unveils New Glass Retail Store in Turkey [Photos]

Apple has unveiled a new glass retail store in Turkey that is reminisent of its flagship cube in Manhattan.

At the new Zorlu Center in Instanbul, Turkey, a glass rectangle sits above the ground while the two-level store itself is below the surface. The rectangle is topped by a huge white roof featuring the Apple logo. The roof is visible from the heights of surrounding apartment buildings.

The rectangle is surrounded by a water fountain constructed of black stone. If you peer in through the glass you can see portions of the store below.


This is the first store in Turkey and eastern Europe. It opens to the public this Saturday at 10am.
